Am Mitt­woch, 23.07. um 19 Uhr eröff­net die Aus­stel­lung „Kunst und Büro­kra­tie“ im BKF — Büro für kura­to­ri­sche For­schung, c/o Gale­rie Nord | Kunst­ver­ein Tier­gar­ten, Turm­stra­ße 75, 10551 Berlin.

Die Aus­wahl­ju­ry, bestehend aus den Besucher*innen und den Direk­to­rin­nen des BKF, haben gemein­sam aus 104 Ein­rei­chun­gen 13 Arbei­ten aus­ge­wählt, die vom 24.07. bis 02.08. im Büro für kura­to­ri­sche For­schung prä­sen­tiert werden.

Gezeigt wer­den Male­rei und Zeich­nung, Instal­la­ti­on und Video, Foto­gra­fie und Skulp­tur von Pas­cal Bra­teau, Albert Coers, Albrecht Fersch, Abie Frank­lin, Ste­pha­nie Imbeau, Johan­nes Jako­bi, Ben­ja­min Kunath, Anna Ley, Inge­borg Locke­mann und Elke Mohr, Katha­ri­na Reich, Oli­via W. Sei­ling und Phil­ipp Valenta. 

Alle Bewer­bun­gen auf den Open Call sind archi­viert im Raum ein­seh­bar und war­ten dort auf zukünf­ti­ge Präsentationsgelegenheiten.

Abs. (5): Kuratorinnenrundgang 

Am Sams­tag, 26.07. um 17 Uhr laden wir Sie zu einem Kura­to­rin­nen­rund­gang durch die Aus­stel­lung „Kunst und Büro­kra­tie“ ein. Der Rund­gang durch die Aus­stel­lung gibt einen Ein­blick in die kura­to­ri­sche Arbeit und lädt zum Aus­tausch über die aus­ge­stell­ten Wer­ke ein.

Abs. (6): Finis­sa­ge „Kunst und Bürokratie“ 

Am Sams­tag, 02.08. um 17 Uhr laden wir Sie zur Finis­sa­ge zur Aus­stel­lung „Kunst und Büro­kra­tie“ ein. Zum Abschluss der Open Call-Aus­stel­lung freu­en wir uns auf einen klei­nen Umtrunk mit betei­lig­ten Künstler*innen und inter­es­sier­ten Besucher*innen. 

Art­mi­nis­tra­ti­on Teil 1 
Abs. (4): Ope­ning of the open call exhi­bi­ti­on ‘Kunst und Büro­kra­tie / Art and Bureaucracy’

 On Wed­nes­day, 23 July at 7 pm, the exhi­bi­ti­on ‘Kunst und Büro­kra­tie / Art and Bureau­cra­cy’ will open at the BKF — office for cura­to­ri­al rese­arch, c/o Gale­rie Nord | Kunst­ver­ein Tier­gar­ten, Turm­stra­ße 75, 10551 Ber­lin.

The sel­ec­tion jury, inclu­ding visi­tors and the direc­tors of the BKF, have joint­ly sel­ec­ted 13 works out of 104 sub­mis­si­ons, which will be pre­sen­ted at the office for cura­to­ri­al rese­arch from 24 July to 2 August.

The exhi­bi­ti­on fea­tures pain­ting and dra­wing, instal­la­ti­on and video, pho­to­gra­phy and sculp­tu­re by Pas­cal Bra­teau, Albert Coers, Albrecht Fersch, Abie Frank­lin, Ste­pha­nie Imbeau, Johan­nes Jako­bi, Ben­ja­min Kunath, Anna Ley, Inge­borg Locke­mann und Elke Mohr, Katha­ri­na Reich, , Oli­via W. Sei­ling and Phil­ipp Valenta. 

All sub­mis­si­ons to the Open Call are being archi­ved and can be view­ed in the gal­lery, whe­re they await future pre­sen­ta­ti­on opportunities.

Abs. (5): Curator’s tour 

On Satur­day, 26 July at 5 pm we invi­te you to a curator’s tour through the exhi­bi­ti­on ‘Art and Bureau­cra­cy’, pro­vi­ding an insight into the cura­to­ri­al work and invi­ting you to dis­cuss the exhi­bi­ted artworks.

Abs. (6): Finis­sa­ge ‘Art and Bureaucracy’ 

On Satur­day, 2 August at 5 pm, we invi­te you to the finis­sa­ge of the exhi­bi­ti­on ‘Art and Bureau­cra­cy’. At the end of the open call exhi­bi­ti­on, we look for­ward to a drink with par­ti­ci­pa­ting artists and inte­res­ted visitors.
